Love is in the air and summer is such a gorgeous time for lovebirds to tie the knot, in some way, shape or form. Whatever style your commitment takes, I’m sharing a selection of alternative rings should you be searching for an everlasting band.
If the idea of a solitaire or a plain gold band leaves you cold, you may prefer geometric, design led jewellery that stands out from the crowd. I have a whole array of options that might just do the trick.
Also, I wanted to add - in case you hadn’t realised - my jewellery is unisex, there are no rules. If you like it, wear it!
Bands with a twist
For those looking for a gold band with added design interest, I’ve put together a selection for you to look at:
My Contour collection features delicate lines, reminiscent of the contour lines on a map that provide character and pick up the light in an understated way.
My Square collection features rows of delicate squares, meticulously angled to pick up the light, with a gentle texture for added depth.

My Hex bands are created with rows of delicate hex slices, all angled precisely to catch the light when worn, and with a gentle texture for added depth.
My Parquet collection is made with slanted slices of gold, which feature a gentle texture. You may choose to interlock them with other Parquet bands, in two different directions; either interlocking towards each other, or all running in the same direction.
Stacking
It’s worth considering whether you want to stack your ring. If so, some of my collections interlock beautifully, or perhaps you like different textures alongside each other like this.
Which gold is for you?
Do you have a preference on colour? If you’re not sure, it’s always worth trying rings on to see which gold works for you. There’s no right or wrong answers here, just what’s right for you.
