As we know, jewellery is often imbued with significance, a token to symbolise a union, a new beginning or a significant moment in time. With fine jewellery made in 18 ct gold, you would expect that jewellery to be worn, treasured and adored forever. That makes the role of a jeweller a huge honour and privilege (I am and will always be grateful to do this for a job!).

It’s also a serious responsibility, to create jewellery that will be enjoyed by as many people as possible, both now and in the future. A big factor in creating everlasting jewellery is having a strong design aesthetic. It needs to be robust and timeless enough to withstand trends, lasting a lifetime and more.

Fortunately, having a timeless design aesthetic also means there are no rules for who can wear my jewellery. I feel very strongly that everyone can wear my jewels. No matter who you are, your age or personal style. Wear it with flair; layered, stacked or styled in unusual combinations. Wear it as wedding jewellery, or divorce jewellery, wear it everyday or for those extra special occasions.

It’s about attitude. My jewellery tends to be popular with those who’ve worked out what they really love. That can take a while can’t it? Once you’re confident with your personal style you are more likely to be drawn to those unusual pieces that you won’t find elsewhere. I’m not a traditional solitaire or plain band gal, my designs aren’t for everyone, I think we knew that, didn't we? If my jewellery does resonate with you, great! Just be sure to get lots of wear out of it, enjoy it, and style it your way.
