Hex Ripple Brooch

Jo loved revisiting this archive brooch design and developing it to be realised in a new material. 
For jewellers, brooches represent an exciting, large canvas for artistic sculptural ideas. This Hex ripple brooch is a classic piece of JHW design with many intricate hex slices coming together to form one whole. Each element catches the light beautifully when worn, appearing to flash on and off, particularly when worn. The effect is a geology-inspired, architecturally charged, metamorphic piece of wearable sculpture.  

This brooch is made in cast aluminium; a beautiful shade of grey and an excellent lightweight material for larger, sculptural pieces as it won’t drag on your clothes. 

This brooch is complicated to make, and as such will only be released in very small batches. There is one available in this drop.
